Study the effect of adding zirconia particles to nickel–phosphorus electroless coatings as product innovation on stainless steel substrate

Abstract Scholars have spent much time studying metal deposition procedures involving the of electroless nickel, alloy, and composite coatings on various surfaces; most current uses were feasible advantages coatings’ many good properties for achieving final product innovation. Lately, these demonstrated intriguing wear corrosion resistance features, resulting in several innovative macro-level developments. The notion coating by co-deposition has been presented this article. characteristics Ni–Pb alloy examined inserting ZrO 2 {{\rm{ZrO}}}_{2} particles into deposited solution. stainless steel (SS) specimens coated with nanoparticles (size = 30–70 nm) at 0, 10, 20 g/L amounts. materials using scanning electron microscope atomic force microscope, followed wear-resistant microhardness testing. According to investigation findings, including inert improved hardness magnitude wearing considerably. base exhibited highest rate 10 N, while decreased Ni–Pb– -coated SS316L 34%. Vickers magnitudes samples different contents (0, g/L) 19, 50, 81%, respectively.

Phlogopite glass-ceramic coatings on stainless steel substrate by plasma spray

Macor coatings on 316 alloys substrates were prepared by plasma spraying. The crystallization temperature, thermal expansion coefficient of mica glass-ceramic were at 900ºC and 40× 10−7/◦C respectively.
